The conditions for importing dogs from abroad must be met:

Import conditions for dogs from the EU and countries with a low risk of urban rabies:

• microchip;

• European passport or veterinary certificate certified by the competent authority;

• a valid rabies vaccination (the animal must be chipped and at least 12 weeks old at the time of vaccination). The vaccine must have been inoculated at least 21 days before crossing the border in the case of primary vaccination.

Import conditions for dogs from third countries at risk of urban rabies:

• microchip;

• veterinary certificate issued by the competent veterinary authority;

• valid anti-rabies vaccination (the animal must be chipped and at least 12 weeks old at the time of vaccination);

• blood test to determine antibodies at an approved laboratory at least 30 days after vaccination;

• a minimum waiting period of 3 months between the blood test and entry into Switzerland. These animals must therefore be at least 7 months old when they cross the Swiss border.

Here are the general requirements for this type of event:

• the entire event must comply with the legal provisions on epizootics and animal protection, in particular with regard to the training of persons responsible for the animals (art. 103 and 192 to 198 OPAn);

• the event organizer must be planned and carried out in such a way as to avoid pain, suffering or damage to the animals. It will be forbidden to use the animals excessively, to harm their dignity in any other way, to put them in a state of anxiety or to overwork them;

• the event organizer must allow the animals to rest and recuperate;

• animals overwhelmed by the situation must be given appropriate accommodation and care;

• no animal selected for breeding purposes that are not permitted (art. 25, para. 2) may take part in the event;

• dogs with cropped ears or tails will not be admitted;

• the organizer must take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of people and animals during the event;

• dogs taking part in the event may not be subject to proximity or intervention measures within the meaning of art. 26, para. 2 and art. 28 LPolC;

• their holders must be able to control them at all times, particularly in the presence of the public, in application of art. 16 of the LPolC;

• animals must be transported and handled in accordance with the requirements of animal protection legislation;

• Any fencing must be designed and fitted in such a way as to avoid any risk of injury to animals or their escape;ll animals must be provided with water and, if necessary, appropriate food. Every effort must be made to avoid stress to the animals from the public;

• the surrounding noise level must not unduly disturb the animals;

• adequate supervision of the animals must be guaranteed;

• the organizer must keep a complete list showing the address of each participant and the chip number of the dogs. This list must be presented at the event and kept available for the veterinary authorities for a period of 3 years;

Yes, the official vet will appoint the district veterinary delegate to check the health conditions for importing dogs from abroad, at the organizer’s expense.

In qualità di Club cinofilo riconosciuto dalla Federazione Svizzera degli Sport Cinofili (SDSF), potrete partecipare ai campionati organizzati dalla SDSF e far parte voi stessi di questa rete di campionati con il vostro Club cinofilo.

La nostra Federazione partecipa in esclusiva al Campionato mondiale di agility IFCS in rappresentanza della Svizzera.

I vostri clienti e soci avranno la certezza di essere assistiti da istruttori cinofili e allenatori sportivi certificati di altissimo livello. Sarete riconosciuti e farete parte di un'organizzazione che incoraggia i più alti standard nell'addestramento dei cani. Con il titolo di Istruttore SDSF garantirete ai vostri partecipanti che non siete in un normale Centro Cinofilo!
