Riding the momentum of the WAC 2025—hosted by our Federation at the stunning CS Ranch in Givrins (VD)—the Board of the Swiss Federation of Canine Sports (SDSD), together with the Agility Department, is thrilled to unveil a landmark season: the first Swiss Agility Games Championships for Canton Ticino and Canton Basel, plus the 2026 National Agility Championship.
Expect practical, athlete-centered innovations to elevate technique, widen participation, and spotlight outstanding teams.
Why “Games” (Gambler & Snooker), and why now
Games sharpen field reading, risk management, and decision making. Gambler rewards vision and timing; Snooker develops strategy and accuracy under pressure. Making two cantonal championships exclusively about these disciplines is a strategic investment in Switzerland’s agility future.

The Ticino and Basel championships will run in semi-OPEN mode:

The 2026 Swiss Agility Championship
The national series will include two selection stages for WAC/IFCS 2027, clear checkpoints for teams targeting the international stage, with technical courses and transparent criteria.
